Last Sunday evening the Northern Hemispherians escaped the cold and snow for two hours with a downunder tropical Christmas party, where DJ Avion played a half-and-half mix of Christmas and other rocking tunes. A little more clothing came off than the photographs indicate!

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal entertained us with Europe Rocks, a wide selection of music played by European bands.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "Well, duh - a Christmas set of course - heavy on the early r&b and blues - maybe even some jazz ..." 

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that usually takes place in one of a variety of special venues. This week Cerydwen will present Rockmas, with a focus on the glam sub-genre of rock. Time to hunt through inventory for some big hair! Last week Cerydwen played music relating to the Eyes theme, on the Jeepers Peepers venue.
