Dolly's, aka the Best Little Cathouse in SL, gives us the opportunity to celebrate our furry feline friends, and for us humans to emulate them in catly attire or to strumpet our stuff as ladies of dubious virtue. Accompanied of course by themely music and your choice of dance and chat, Sunday at 4 pm SLT.
Bea's This Week in VB II
Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm SLT, we found ourselves marooned on a deserted island with increasingly falling-to-bits clothing, while DJ Avion played music suitable for the theme. Oddly, nobody seemed particularly anxious to be rescued.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will will present medieval and Middle Eastern music at the Arabian Nights venue. Last week, Qntal played a lovely selection of music for the regular Love Songs and Lingerie event on the Big Bed at Venus Bean.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "Today it is all covers ... covers of Dylan, Lennon & McCartney, Buddy Holly, and a lot of blues."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
