Last Sunday evening we bounced and boogied on the VB Big Bed at our regular Pajama Party, with slumber-themed tunes provided by DJ Avion. A fine and sometimes revealing array of sleepwear added to the mood of the occasion.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, we moove into the Barn where DJ Qntal will play country or western music .... perhaps even country AND western! Last week, Qntal presented "Ladies of Rock" with a fine selection of songs by female artists or lead singers.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I got in a mood ... back to the late 1960s, with some serious psychedelic rock."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
