Busy Thursday!

After the calm of our meed week break (lol) we're back in to it today... Bea is on at 9am with her normal electric groove of the old and the new - come as you are as she puts it. Come down and be entertained! 


At 5pm DJ Surfer will be taking centre stage with her mix...sometimes we have a theme, sometimes we don't...depends on the mood! Thats the mystery of Surfer's event..means you'll have to be there to find out


Friday 5AM see's our Hey Hey! It's Friday! event..and this Friday we're doing a Legally Blonde night, so come on down and party in your best blonde and girly outfit, $500L on the board for the most girly outfit!

One Girl Event coming soon!

Remember we mentioned a while back we're going to host an event for a worthwhile cause? Remember I mentioned the 'One Girl' cause? well we're gearing up for it in mid June... have a look at their website firstly  (www.onegirl.org.au) and get an feel for what they do, you'll soon see how worthwhile the cause is.
We'll be running a grand ball, schoolgirl parties, and other themed events, as well as all donations for the week going to the cause...so jump on board the fun, and if you can help, please do, in any way!!

I love Eurovision! And, no, I'm not sad!

Yep, that wacky time of the year is back again! It's Eurovision Song Contest! If your in Europe, or Australia, you'll know all about it!. This year it's being held in Baku, in Azerbaijan. 

To bring some of that wacky Eurovision fun into Venus Beach II, we'll be celebrating from Saturday, 5pm SLT, with a Eurovision Party!. Avion has put together every single winning song from 1956 to 2011, and will be rezzing a special set, so be sure to come along!!

Spring Clean @ Venus Gardens

You may have noticed some subtle and not so subtle changes in recent weeks on our parks-sim, Venus Gardens!
As featured before on this blog, My partner Avion has created a fantastic castle, i think you will join me in agreeing this would be her most amazing bit of handiwork yet!! 
Avion and I have also worked hard on three of our public houses. (did you even know they existed?!!). 
We've created lots of great little details to them to make them more attractive for you to visit by yourself, our with a loved one...

Great time had at our Goth Party!

We had an awesome time at our Goth Party at the regular Friday 'Hey Hey' event!! We had a record crowd for our this, the forth week of our new gig, and a good time was had by all. Avion DJ'd and razzed her great castle, (Yes, she has made more than one, lol), and although we had a clear winner for best in goth, i would like to say, that i came second!!!
Our 'Hey Hey It's Friday' event is weekly on a Friday, from 5am SLT @ the beach.. see

Tiki Tooesday at VBII !!

Ohhhh thank god it's Tuesday again!!! We're back again for our fave event! Non other than Tiki Tooesday ~ and the preferred attire is topless, but come how you want, VBII is a clothing optional community!
The tiki bar will be out, and DJ Avion will be spinning her tunes, so come on down and join in the fun. Newbies and oldies welcome...

Yeeahhh ha!! Country and Western event coming up!

Saddle up, cowgirls! come on down to the Venus Gardens Ranch, where we'll be opening the saloon bar up for a wild morning! - well maybe not the saloon bar, but we can offer a barn!
Come on down on Friday, 5am SLT, as DJ Avion and Laura host the third week of our Friday event, and we will have $L500 on the board for the best dressed cowgirl! See ya there!!

Why where you not there on Saturday, eh??

We had a great time at our pool party on Saturday night, five or six of our members where there? but what was your excuse please?!
Avion rediesgined our famous pool It now has a dry area for those who don't want to get into a bikini, so you can have the best of both worlds! It has also been updated with new features, so be sure to check it out next time the pool is out :-)))
A few of our guests crashed we think, so that was a bummer, so we partied on...!

DJ Profile time!! haha!

I cornered Bea the other day in IM and said 'Take some pics! I need something for the blog! please!... Anyways, so I got a zip file with heaps of pics in it from her event(s), and a cute little description too! 
"My Thursday Dance parties, at 9 AM SLT, are a great way to get over those "why isn't the weekend here yet" blues!!
It's always "come as your are", so no need to worry about finding something that fits a theme.  My tastes are pretty eclectic - yesterday I played everything from the King Cole Trio to Katie Perry, and some of Pink!.. so  Just come on down and have fun!"

Bea's is one of the few consistent long serving members of our community, and deserves major kudos for hanging out for all this time... I'm sure her wife, Bev, keeps her sane, too.

She helped a great deal with that older post with the VB/II history? remember that one?

Look whats coming soon!

Yep, it doesn't look like much yet, but if your wondering what's happening at Venus Gardens, well wonder no more, ladies!
We're gonna open a brand new feature, a huge, grand castle for you to explore. This castle will be something to be awe with. Avion has spent many months building this, and many hours of her time. From the dungeon and tunnel underneath, to the tallest spire, there is much to explore here. It will be complemented with a new landscaped path from Bea's Beach through to the castle.
So keep checking back here and at Venus Gardens.. The castle will soon be open to all...
