Star Wars Day

For this week's event at 4 pm SLT Sunday we teleport up to the Death Star to celebrate Star Wars Day, and all forms of science fiction. We have to wait until 2025 before May the Fourth falls on a Sunday, but we'll get as close as we can until then. Star Wars costumes are welcome, as is any other sort of sci-fi attire. Or come as you are.

Last week on Sunday evening we celebrated St George's Day (England's national day) in the King's Head pub where DJ Avion played music by English artists. The traditional colors of St George in Union Flag and other forms dominated the clothing worn.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will play Medieval and Celtic music in the new castle. Last week DJ Shelly presented Lingerie and Love Songs in the debut of the medieval castle; some of us could not decide between dressing in the lingerie theme and wearing medieval attire to suit the castle ... so opted to do both!

Cheryl discovered the hidden dungeon ...

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will play "a bunch of music new to me - a real eclectic set."

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

Discovering pole dancing ...

Meanwhile, Anne and Jane had private dances in Venus Bean

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

Modesty and Pyraphine had a glittery private party in Surf's Up

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week's theme will be International Workers' Day which falls on May 1st, and will be held in Dolly's house of ill repute with a musical emphasis on 'working girls' - this is also the suggested form of attire, Last week JoAnn presented a Colors theme with music mentioning a variety of hues, and guests took the opportunity to rainbow the dance floor.
