Pajama Party

 This week on Sunday at 4 pm SLT we bounce onto the Venus Beach Big Bed for our semi-regular Pajama Party. Don your favorite sleepwear (if any) and join us for two hours of chat, dancing and pillow fights, with slumber-themed music from DJ Avion to conversely keep you awake.

Last Sunday evening DJ Avion presented Themeless Thunday on a bare-bones set, with a selection of DJ's Choice tunes. Guests had no trouble finding an outfit for come-as-you-like!

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will play songs from that great decade of music, the 1980s. Last week Qntal presented the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean with a lovely selection of romantic tunes.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will play " ... the next chapter in my series of 'Alphabetical by Artist', with G and H - and a trip back to Boz Scaggs, since I just bought two albums."

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

Scoring Cerydwen's splashdown

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

DJ Amber will not be available this week on Thursday at 5 pm slt but may return the following week with a mix of soft rock tunes from the 1970s onwards.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week, Cerydwen will present Fools' Day (variously known as April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day), an annual custom on April 1st consisting of practical jokes and hoaxes. Will there actually be music? Come and find out! Last week Cerydwen celebrated World Meteorological Day, which showcases the contribution of meteorological and hydrological services to the safety and wellbeing of society.
