For this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT Sunday we plunge into the Mermaid Pool for some finny frolics and soft music. If you don't have a mermaid costume there are several freebies suitable for classic avatars at the pool, or swimwear will do just as well.
Last Sunday evening at 4 pm we went troppo at the Hawaiian venue for Favorite Summer Dress, where DJ Avion spun a mix of thematic tunes. The photographs don't show how favorite dresses became favorite skins!
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean, carried over from last week. Last week, in Qntal's absence, DJ Avion played a selection of early rock'n'roll in the Happy Daze diner.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "Once again it is new (to me) music time, so I will share some of these new acquisitions."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week's theme is International Day of Friendship, a day to appreciate and promote friendships from all backgrounds. Suggested attire .... umm, something friendly? Last week we voyaged to the centre of the earth for Elemental Earth, one of the four classical elements in ancient Greek philosophy.
