With enormous personal sadness I have to let you know that Shy Librarian, your erstwhile blogger and my beloved partner and best friend, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 27th. She told me ".... only half a life (50 years) but I lived it like 100 so not complaining I missed something."
Condolences to all who knew her, loved her and miss her. We've all lost someone very special.
But despite the void, Second Life goes on ....

Last Sunday evening we celebrated St Andrew's Day with a visit to Mac's highland pub, where DJ Avion played a selection of music by modern Scottish artists. A variety of plaids and Scottish national colors added to the atmosphere.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will offer a second serving of Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, DJ Qntal presented the same theme with a lovely selection of romantic tunes.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea "hasn't figured out what she is going to do yet ....", so come along and find out!
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, Cerydwen will continue on from Tiki Toosday's pool topic when we lather up in the foam pool, with bubbly music to suit. Last week, Cerydwen took us back to one of the other great decades of music, the 1970s.
