Dog days of summer? More like the sled dog days of summer Sunday evening when we huddled for warmth during DJ Avion's Summer Freeze at VB II's permanent winter venue, Venus Freeze.
At 5 am SLT Sunday DJ Suzi takes Acoustic Sunrise from the relaxing Venus Bean Coffee Lounge to the decidedly unmellow envirions of the abandoned Rosella jam factory for funk music in a raucous rave setting. Play that funky music, white girl! Last week smooth jazz at Ella's drew yet another VB II record crowd.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and jazz Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "Mostly a rock set - including some music that is new to me, and some from cds I never got around to ripping. I can guarantee that you will not know all the songs, although you will know some."
DJ JoAnn continues her journey through the best decades of contemporary music with '80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. As always, lots of memorable tunes, plus a few that are likely to be new to you.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new by artists legendary and obscure when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT at a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we frolic in the popular VB II Swimming Pool.
DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain Wednesday at 5 pm SLT. Goth attire is entirely optional.
Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week: no more goofin' around! It's biker chicks at the race track and dancing to biker music.
