NEW! NEW! NEW! The Shops have taken on a new look...and taken on dozens of new items from NOHO and Adris King as well. Clothing for classic bodies, mesh bodies, often both. They join Lyric's LTD Originals (for classic bodies) in The Shops, along with some bargains and freebies. An unfortunate shutdown of a vendor system and distressing 1 million percent inflation in another shop owner's disfunctional homeland have led to this interesting opportunity to offer new things for you to peruse. New items are neatly categorized and include separates, outfits, hair, and accessories. Featured this week...

From Adris King is this denim shorts and top set for L$120; the shorts come in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass and TMP fittings, while the top is in five classic mesh sizes (XS to XL) complete with a 12-color texture HUD,

DJ Avion slowed down the tempo so that that our fabulously-frocked Venusians could enjoy a warm summer Sunday evening at our annual Summer Formal.

DJ Suzi's creative Acoustic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sundays returns to its roots this week with Stripped Down Sunday: Unplugged & Undressed. As always at VB II, let your personal comfort zone be your guide when you interpret "undressed" to join us at Venus Bean Coffee Lounge. Yesterday Suzy (over)filled the sim for over an hour with the first of decidedly-unacoustic monthly events at the abandoned Rosella jam factory.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, jazz, and blues every Monday morning at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "a set with a lot of Texas blues going on."

DJ JoAnn continues her journey through the best decades of contemporary music with '80s Night on Monday at 5 pm SLT. As usual, tons of memorable tunes, plus a few that are likely to be new to you.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new by artists legendary and obscure when we gather 5at 5 pm SLT for Tiki Toosday at a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we'll slip into the cave to visit Neon Palms.

 

A week after our Lammas Festival, DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain Wednesday at 5 pm SLT. Goth attire is entirely optional.

DJ Surfer provides the music for Games Night at 5 pm SLT Thursday. On Games Night or any other time, the Games Room, Amusement Park, and nearby airfield and racetrack provide endless activities for individuals, couples, and groups.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week we plunge into the mystical Mermaid Pool. In costume or swimsuit or come-as-you-are don't miss this special event.
