Triple Birthday Treat

This week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT is a triple celebration - Canada Day, Independence Day and Venus Beach II's  twelfth birthday. Suggested dress might be national attire or VB II garb, while birthday suits are always welcome!

Last Sunday evening at 4 pm SLT we donned formal or smart casual attire to suit the stylish environs of Ella's, where guests wore a wonderful array of elegance while dancing to softer music by DJ Avion.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present a slightly late regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week Qntal presented a great set of country and western music in the VB Barn. 

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will be "Continuing with alphabetical by artist theme, time to finish off letter B". 

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week, Cerydwen will present music by British dance bands from 1927 to 1939, in a venue yet to be decided. Last week, Cerydwen presented a most enjoyable set of tunes from the Fallout video game series.

This week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT is Party Dresses at Ella's. Think quiet elegance with formal or classy casual attire to match the environs of Ella's and the slower-tempo music by DJ Avion.

Last Sunday evening DJ Bea presented a set of swing tunes from a variety of periods, in the Honeysuckle Rose venue. Swing-like attire was in evidence for many of the guests.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present a set of country and western music in the VB Barn. Qntal was unavailable last week.
