St. Andrew's Day

When we celebrate St. Andrew's Day Sunday at 4 pm SLT, we'll be in a Scottish pub listening to DJ Avion's offering of Scottish artists. And we'll be looking for Best in Scottish Attire. For those who are punctilious about punctuation, the town St. Andrews and its far better known golf course lost their apostrophes somewhere in the gorse and heather of the Old Course, but the day is correctly possessive.

Food was on our minds and on the tip of our tongues last evening as DJ Avion played two hours of "music for foodies" at our Harvest Festival. Best of the Harvest honors were shared by JoAnn, Sheree, and Surfer.

DJ Qntal takes over the turntable this week as the Le Mew & Le Purr partnership continues the Acoustic Sunrise tradition, Sunday at 5 am SLT, at the Venus Bean Coffee Lounge.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of classic rock, blues, and jazz every Monday at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "a tribute to Jimi Hendrix on what would have been his 75th birthday."

DJ JoAnn plays music from the incomparable '80s at 5 pm SLT Monday. Tons of memorable hits, and a few that might be new to you. 

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new on Tiki Toosday, 5 pm SLT at a variety of tropical locations in the VB II sims. This week we'll be seaside at Surf's Up! Tiki Bar.

DJ JoAnn plays symphonic and goth metal when we gather at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain each Wednesday at 5 pm SLT.

DJ Surfer provides the music when we get together for Games Night at 5 pm SLT Thursdays. At Games Night or any other time there are endless activities available at the Venus Beach Amusement Park, and at the nearby race track and airfield.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that is often accompanied by one of Avion's themely settings. This week it's Classic Rock.
