This past week DJ Avion played music by Australian performers to mark Australia's national day on January 26th, with a sausage sizzle against the background of Uluru (the big red rock in the middle of the country).
At Acoustic Sunrise on Sunday at 5 am SLT DJ Suzi will present old time Southern rock in the Jam Factory (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special and more). Last week we danced in Ella's to a second helping of the R&B sub-genre, Quiet Storm.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week, Bea will spin a tribute to January birthdays - Warren Zevon, Robert Burns and Martin Luther King, with the rest filled in with "stuff I had not played in a while".
DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. As always lots of your favorites, plus a few that are likely to be new to you.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT in a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we will be back to the popular pool.
DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her new dungeon. Goth attire is entirely optional.
Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week we return to Venushenge for the Celtic celebration of Imbolc, or Saint Brigid's Day.
