For this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT the venue will be the Rednekkid Bar & Grill Still swamp bar where DJ Avion will spin Louisiana-inspired tunes and related music. Wondering what to wear? Redneck, hillbilly or trashy chic would work.

Last Sunday we attended a Short Shorts and Tiny Tops party on the tropical Hawaiian set where DJ Avion played beachy and bouncy tunes. Guests were similarly beachy and bouncy!

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will play a selection of Celtic and medieval music in the special Celtic Sunrise venue. Last week Qntal presented beautiful romantic tunes for the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I just got a Monkees compilation, so several songs from there, and a varied collection of supporting tunes."

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week Cerydwen will present Around the World, with songs mentioning world cities - suggested attire could include national dress or perhaps sloganned or pictorial t-shirts.  Last week, hell froze over long enough for us to choose costumery appropriate to a Fire & Ice topic.
