Outback BBQ Marks Australia Day

Creative set, all-Aussie music, and varied costumes last evening as we observed Australia Day. Everyone entered received votes and Surfer won Best Aussie. Next Sunday's theme remains undecided...Grammys just happened, Super Bowl coming up, or maybe something else entirely...so stay tuned.

Until then, DJ Avion will present Topless Tiki Toosday, DJ Surfer hosts Game Night Thursday, and the week kicks off at 9 am SLT today with DJ Bea.

See you around campus.

Get Your Dancin' Feet Down to Venus Beat

Kick off your week with DJ Bea at 9 am SLT today on the Venus Beat dasce floor. On Tuesday join DJ Avion at the Surf's Up! Tiki Bar, and on Thursday it's the Venus Beach Amusement Park for Game Night with DJ Surfer. Sunday marks Australia Day Down Under-- and for us as well at 4 pm SLT--as we commemorate the arrival of 11 convict ships at Port Jackson (redubbed Sydney Cove) in what was then called New Holland.

Last night saw yet another of those three-way ties in very close voting for Best in Fetishwear. Winners of the Fetish Funday competition were Alwayz (with riding crop), Bea (with red lipstick tattoos), and Surfer (with red ballgag).

It Was a Hard Day's Night...

...but we weren't working like a dog. We were enjoying two hours of DJ Bea's Beatles Tribute while twisting and shouting in our mod minis at Avion's Beatles concert venue. Shy (in big black and white checks) won the Best in Mid-Sixties Mini competition.

This week, explore your dark side as we visit Madame Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain on Sunday with a Best in Fetish Wear competition. Start the week with DJ Bea's Monday Dance Party at 9 am SLT, DJ Avion's Topless Tiki Toosday, and DJ Surfer's Game Night on Thursday.

Guidance for the "Mid-Sixties Mini" competition Sunday

Hi ladies,
I'm sure some of you, on reading my newsletter - you do read it, right - were wondering what the h-e-double-hockey -sticks  I meant by "Mid-Sixties mini". Think "Mods" - Carnaby Street - Mary Quant - and if you don't know what those are, exercise your Google-Fu. Think paisley and big op art prints and colored panty hose and square heel pumps and go-go boots.

For your inworld shopping pleasure, below is a LM that will put you right down in a little shop called Mod Squad Designs. Every dress in there is perfect, and most are $150L. Across the street is a place called Subculture (a much bigger store), and most of the stuff there works, too.

Have fun!

Bea

Heaven and Hell Battled for Our Souls; Result: Split Decision

After spending some of New Year's Eve at Topless Tiki Toosday, we faced a difficult decision Sunday--show our true colors or dissemble at the Angels and Demons Dance. Looks like most of us were less than fully honest, but once again everyone received a vote (!) and Alwayz emerged the winner in an outfit mouthwateringly reminiscent of the Victoria's Secret Angels. Avion designed an amazing Heaven and Hell set for the occasion and played an entire list of devil/angel songs.

This week kicks off with DJ Bea today at 9 am SLT, then offers Topless Tiki Toosday with DJ Avion and Games Night Thursday with DJ Surfer. At Sunday's Beatles Tribute it'll be Best in Mid-Sixties Mini.
