Bea's This Week in VB II
Last Sunday evening at 4 pm SLT we donned formal or classy casual attire to suit the stylish environs of Ella's, where guests wore a wonderful array of elegance while dancing to softer music by DJ Avion.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will play music by American rockers to mark the July 4th Independence Day celebrations. Last week, Qntal presented the regular end-of month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean, with a lovely selection of romantic tunes.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I had this set all ready, but I don't want to play it - beach party coming instead!"
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.
New Kit On The Block
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week we strap into our straitjackets and check ourselves into the VB Asylum, where Cerydwen will play music related to madness, lunacy and dementia. Suggested attire? Whatever panders to your neuroses!. Last week Cerydwen presented part 2 of Sweets with music all about sweets and confectionery, in the new sweet shop setting.
