Last week on Sunday evening we celebrated St George's Day (England's national day) in the King's Head pub where DJ Avion played music by English artists. The traditional colors of St George in Union Flag and other forms dominated the clothing worn.
This Sunday at 5 am SLT DJ Qntal will hold a "Girls' Morning Out" event in the Arabian Nights venue, featuring all female artists. Last week, DJ Shelly spun romantic music at "Love Songs and Lingerie"in Ella's.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "come see which hodge I podge this week".
DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something rarely or never heard before, as well as lots of favorites.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT in a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we will be in the Neon Palms cave after a splash-up in the VB pool last week.
DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in her latex and leather dungeon, now a permanent fixture on the Beach sim (use the teleport board on the wall of the landing hut). Dress is optional, but think latex and leather to match the decor.
Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week's theme will be part two of Colors featuring music mentioning a variety of hues, while guests are invited to pick attire from the rainbow. Last week's part one drew a kaleidoscope of dress with music to match.
