This past week we ventured into the frigid depths of Venus Freeze for our Winter Festival. While some dressed for the occasion, others anticipated the coming drift into warmer weather.
At Acoustic Sunrise on Sunday at 5 am SLT DJ Suzi will present an 80s show with a focus on the New Romantics movement, a sleek, synthesized and danceable form of pop combined with flamboyant and eccentric fashion. Last week saw a return to the sit-down-and-chat format of smooth tunes in Venus Bean.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week, Bea started her playlist with a lot of twofers, then hit shuffle and mixed them all up.
DJ JoAnn continues her excursion into the best decades of contemporary music with '80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. As always lots of your favorites, plus a few that are likely to be new to you.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT in a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we will be back to the popular pool.
DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain. Goth attire is entirely optional.
Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues; last week we danced inside the giant clock for part 3 of Time. This week JoAnn presents another great decade of music, the 1960s.
