Bea's This Week in VB II
Last Sunday evening DJ Avion slowed the tempo a little with soft rock suitable for a formal evening in the elegant environs of Ella's. Guests looked wonderful in a dazzling array of evening-wear.
This week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT will once again be in hiatus while DJ Qntal takes a short break. Last week DJ Qntal presented the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie with a lovely selection of romantic and Celtic tunes.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will play ".... mostly a random thing, but with a Janis Joplin tribute album in there."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Sara continues to play a great mix of rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music. Last week, DJ Cerydwen kindly stepped up to fill in for an ailing Sara.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week Cerydwen plays the numbers game with music relating to integers, ordinals and numerals. Last week, Cerydwen took us into a Dreamin' state up in the clouds for a visionary selection of topical music.
