Sunday, May 3, our we'll daringly board the death star hovering over VBII for our annual Star Wars event, just a few hours ahead of the Fourth, unless you live in Oz, Asia, or parts of Europe and Africa, where it'll already be Star Wars Day. (Did anyone else have to take off her shoes to figure that out?). Have fun trying out costumes for our Best in Space competition, and don't feel constrained by the Star Wars theme, just be spacey.

Last evening, Avion spun two hours of mellow tunes at Ella's as we met for our VBII Spring Formal. A wide array of lovely evening gowns resulted in a four-way tie among Bea, Qntal, Sunbeam, and Shy.

Next Sunday we'll go to the closets for our best evening gowns to celebrate the season at a formal dance in the elegant supper club atmosphere of Ella's. DJ Bea played two hours of swing at The Venus Room last evening, and with voting spread among all entrants also won Best Swing Era Attire.
