A little outing to the interactive art piece Skyscrapers turned into much more this past week. Follow the directions, become an invisible avatar, and jump in your little red jet (seats two). Thanks to miniaturization, on a single sim there are about 100 sims of skyscrapers, real and imaginary. Back to start looking for creator information, a wonderful surprise. Skyscrapers LM

Prolific SL fractal artist Gem Priez is displayed in dozens of sims throughout SL, and he has a home gallery as well. At Gem Priez Fractal Art Gallery his pieces are cleverly displayed on multiple levels so one never feels that the art is crowded together. It was Avion who noted (bottom pic, right side) that the cathedral was evocative of Gaudi. Gallery LM

Last Sunday evening the Class of 2020 gathered in the marquee for the end-of-high-school prom. Guests danced in an array of beautiful gowns to music about endings, new beginnings and friendships.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the big bed in the Venus Bean coffee lounge. Last week, DJ Shelly played Celtic and romance music in the medieval castle.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week Bea will play "another Bea cross-genre mish-mash, with some twofers and such-like."

DJ Joann continues her journey through that amazing decade of music, the 1980s, at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something new or long forgotten to be heard, as well as lots of favorites.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists well-known and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the location of this week's event.

Abandon ... ship?

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week JoAnn will play songs of love and peace in honor of the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, at the Mudstock hippie festival venue. Last week JoAnn played Goth rock to celebrate World Goth Day, in the original VB Madam Lash dungeon.

On Saturday morning DJ Bea held one of her occasional Jazz Pop-up sessions in Venus Bean.
