Frozen Summer? Oh no, not winter already! (Unless you live Down Under in the land of frozen pipes.) For our featured event of the week Sunday at 4 pm SLT, take a break from the dog days of summer at Avion's Venus Freeze, a permanent touch of winter in the otherwise-tropical sims of Venus Beach II.

This week's featured item from The Shops is Adris King's Assay mini-dress in Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Lara, Physique and Venus fittings and with a six-color HUD, all for L$120. Shoes not included.

DJ Bea took us back to the Swing Era (1935-45) last evening with two hours of classic swing, predominantly about trains--in title, lyrics or both.

After a break so we could show the VB II flag at the 20-hour Women's Woodstock combined women's clubs event, DJ Suzi will be back at 5 am SLT Sunday with Acoustic Sunrise: Smooth Jazz at Ella's. Lingerie is the suggested attire, but anything is fine at VB II.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and jazz every Monday morning at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "I had a set underway - then Aretha died - and I finished as a tribute."

DJ JoAnn continues her journey through the best decades of contemporary music with '80s Night on Monday at 5 pm SLT. As usual, tons of memorable tunes, plus a few that are likely to be new to you.

Last week VB II hosted a very special event, the marriage of Bea and Kay ... the third wedding held on the sim ...

... after which we adjourned to the nearby Honeysuckle Rose for the reception.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new by artists legendary and obscure when we gather at 5 pm SLT for Tiki Toosday at a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we're back to Surf's Up!

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain Wednesday at 5 pm SLT. Goth attire is entirely optional.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week:  It started with a typo of "good night," but Goof Night now brings us song parodies and fun songs, and a chance to wear your biggest fashion mistakes: hair, clothes, accessories. Think of it as a bad hair day gone wild.
