'It Was a Graveyard Smash'

Next Sunday, ahead of All Hallows Eve, we'll gather in the graveyard for our annual Halloween costume party. Sunday at 4 pm SLT. Be fun or scary or just be you. We'll be looking for Best Halloween Costume.

DJ Avion's lofty tunes and the planes she built shared top billing with the costumed fliers Sunday evening at our aviation event. Lisa and Georgie shared Best Aviatrix honors.

Murder and mayhem will be DJ Suzi's musical theme for Acoustic Sunrise Halloween at 5 am SLT on Sunday. Venus Bean coffee lounge might look a little bloody.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of classic rock, blues, and jazz every Monday at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea, "I'm getting saxy."

DJ JoAnn plays tunes from the incomparable '80s at 5 pm SLT Monday. Tons of memorable hits, and a few that might be new to you. 

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new at Tiki Toosday, this week held at Surf's Up! Tiki Bar, Tuesday at 5 pm SLT.

We gather at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain for symphonic and goth metal with DJ JoAnn every Wednesday at 5 pm SLT.

DJ Surfer provides the music when we get together for Games Night at 5 pm SLT Thursdays. At Games Night or any other time there are endless activities available at the Venus Beach Amusement Park, and at the nearby race track and airfield.

DJ JoAnn moves on from steampunk aboard Avion's huge Lindenberg to the fascinating genre of skiffle this Friday at 5 pm SLT in the Venus Beach Barn. For those unfamiliar here's the Wiki on skiffle. Interesting factoid: "the Beatles developed from John Lennon's skiffle group the Quarrymen."
