May the Sixth Be With You

One of these years our Star Wars event will fall on a Sunday, May 4, and we can say "May the Fourth Be With You." Until then join us for our featured event Sunday at 4 pm SLT aboard Avion's huge (100m diameter!) Death Star for dancing and chat. Star Wars costumes welcome, as is any other sort of sci-fi attire. Or come as you are.

We got our fill of Swing last evening in Honeysuckle Rose. We danced off the calories as DJ Bea played two hours of swing with food or drink in the title or lyrics. 

Acoustic Sunrise returns to its acoustic roots Sunday at 5 am SLT: Suzi's inspiration and Avion's build of Venus Bean coffee shop. And DJ Suzi, as always, provides a twist on the theme with Stripped Down Sunday - Unplugged and Undressed. Or, as undressed as your own comfort level permits.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and jazz every Monday at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "This set is eclectic and mellow. Lots of Grateful Dead."

DJ JoAnn interrupts music from the incomparable '80s to present '60s Night Monday at 5 pm SLT. As usual, tons of memorable hits and always a few that are likely to be new to you.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new on Tiki Toosday, 5 pm SLT, at a variety of locations on the two VB II  sims. This week we'll be at Surf's Up! Tiki Bar.

This week's symphonic and goth metal show is postponed until Friday, so that DJ JoAnn can lead us in celebrating the pagan spring ritual Beltane on Wednesday at 5 pm SLT.

DJ Surfer provides the music when we get together for Games Night, Thursdays at 5 pm SLT. During Games Night or any other time, the Amusement Park, Games Room, and nearby airfield and racetrack provide endless activities and fun.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Joann spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week it's our normal Wednesday feature: goth and symphonic metal in Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain.
