Next Sunday at 4 pm SLT for our featured event of the week we'll perform a hemispheric shift for our Christmas Luau with DJ Avion in honor of our Southern Hemisphere founders. Attire? Well, tropical, of course, or for the adventurous: Christmas Bare as You Dare.

Travel Tip: Kekeland is a quiet, sunny and peaceful fishermen's place inspired by an Italian village. And then as you explore further, there are surprises...here's the slurl

Walk down the cobblestone street to the town square

Just beyond is the harbor and an angry-looking sea

First surprise is to the right, an unusual island

Inside is a quaint bar and café

Nearby is a most unusual room

On the other side of the harbor is an extensive haunted castle

And, yes, there are ghosts

Back to the top of the hill, follow path back to abandoned monastery

Wander past the windmill to the beach

Avion learns the first rule of retail: You break it you own it.

On Sunday evening DJ Bea played a selection of blues with a "sorta heavy Texas thing". An array of denim provided a fitting backdrop to the music.

At Acoustic Sunrise on Sunday at 5 am SLT  DJ Suzi has threatened, err, promised to present us with Christmas parodies. This past week we celebrated Suzi's RL birthday with songs from her year of birth.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues, and jazz  Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week, Bea shows that she can do an entire rock playlist with no bands from the 1960s or before.

DJ JoAnn continues her excursion into the best decades of contemporary music with '80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. As always lots of your favorites, plus a few that are likely to be new to you.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT in a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we'll be in the VB II Swimming Pool.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain. Goth attire is entirely optional.

Earlier, Shy and Avion showed Saraliz 'The Globe' video dome

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week we'll observe the Winter Solstice in the frigid confines of Venus Freeze.

On occasional Saturday mornings, DJ Bea hosts impromptu jazz at Venus Bean. Last week she featured Ella Fitzgerald and the Ramsey Lewis Trio with a selection of Christmas tunes.
