Our featured event this week is another national celebration, Bastille Day at Avion's exceptional Moulin Rouge set. Dress yourself as a showgirl, or someone else French...Irma la Douce, Coco Chanel, Brigitte Macron, or just come as yourself and enjoy the show. If you need a little motivation, play the Marseillaise scene from the film Casablanca (bring tissues).

Sunday evening we marked a Triple Treat Birthday, celebrating Canada Day, Independence Day and VB II's 7th birthday. DJ Avion and greeter Janni the Moose Whisperer led us in a spirited evening of dance, chat, and terrific music.

Acoustic Sunrise was cancelled because of illness yesterday, but DJ Suzi will return next Sunday with the playlist she had so much fun putting together, Beatles Covers. Join us at Venus Bean Coffee Lounge at 5 am SLT on Sunday.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and jazz every Monday morning at 9 am SLT.  This week, says Bea: "Exploring the music of the Lovin' Spoonful - beyond just the songs everyone knows."

DJ JoAnn continues her trip through the best decades of contemporary music Monday at 5 pm SLT with '80s Night. As usual, tons of memorable tunes, and always a few that are likely to be new to you.

New Kit On The Block, Lyric's Tosha ... get well soon!

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new when we gather for Tiki Toosay at 5 pm SLT in a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week it's the popular VB II Swimming Pool.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal at 5 pm Wednesday at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain. Goth attire is entirely optional.

DJ Surfer provides the music for Games Night at 5 pm SLT Thursday. On Games Night or any other time the Games Room, Amusement Park, and nearby airfield and racetrack provide endless activities for individuals, couples and groups.

At 5 pm SLT Fridays, DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week it's: Qntal filling in for archer JoAnn, continuing our dual national observances this week by featuring American and Canadian Rock Musicians, CanAm Rock.
