We're Proud of Our Diversity

Pride Month in June honors the LGBTQ among us and those of us who support them, a consistent theme of VB II since its founding. For our featured event at 4 pm Sunday, DJ Avion will play themely tunes while we cavort in our outrageous (or subtle) rainbowish outfits.

Avion's clever resurrection of a dingy abandoned Rosella jam factory led to Sunday's decidedly un-dingy Rave Party, replete with DJ RAVEon's music remixes, an entire new set of dances, and eye-popping flashy lights.

Acoustic Sunrise makes a themeless transition this Sunday at 5 am SLT, after the monthly session Unplugged and Undressed. DJ Suzi has declared this week DJ's Choice into which she'll pack tunes that don't fit in usual themed events: Misfit Songs.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and jazz every Monday morning at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "I am gonna rock the joint - lots of Stones, some Santana, and some other stuff."

DJ JoAnn continues her trip through the best decades of contemporary music Monday at 5 pm SLT with '70s Night. As usual, tons of memorable, and always a few that are likely to be new to you.

Avion spins old and new by artists legendary and obscure when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT at a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we go spelunking at the cave version of the Neon Palms dance floor.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain at 5 pm Wednesday. Goth attire is entirely optional.

DJ Surfer provides the music for Games Night at 5 pm  SLT Thursday. On Games Night or any other time the Games Room, Amusement Park and nearby racetrack and airfield provide endless activities for individuals, couples, and groups.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week it's J-Pop/J-Rock. Wondering what to wear? Try Google Images if you missed this fad.

... while on the other sim two intrepid aviatrices (Nai and Alouette) took to the air and landed with body parts intact.
