The crocodile rocked and so did we Sunday evening when DJ Avion transported us to Rednekkid Bar & Still for two hours of Louisiana-inspired music. And, yes, Crocodile Rock qualifies as Louisiana-inspired when there's one guarding the front door.

Acoustic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday takes a slightly different tack this week (when doesn't it?) as DJ Suzi presents Quiet Storm at Ella's. It'll be similar to the Lingerie and Smooth Jazz monthly events at Ella's. "Quiet Storm is a radio format and genre of contemporary R&B, performed in a smooth, romantic, jazz-influenced style. It is named after the title song on Smokey Robinson's 1975 album A Quiet Storm." [Thank you, Wikipedia]

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, jazz and blues every Monday at 9 am SLT.  This week, says Bea: "I have this urge to do a beach party, so I will today"

DJ JoAnn continues her tour of the greatest decades of contemporary music with '80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. As always, lots of memorable tunes, plus a few likely to be new to you.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT in a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we head west to Surf's Up! tiki bar.

Earlier Tuesday, Avion helped Anastasia on her first day in SL

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal at 5 pm SLT Wednesdays in Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain. Goth attire is entirely optional.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week it's: LGBT Pride.
